Cristina Duarte

Cristina Duarte is an actor, teacher, comedian and stage director. Born in Portugal, but raised in New Jersey, Cristina spent her adult years training and working as an actor in New York City. She studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio, received her MA in Theatre from Hunter College and her MFA in Directing from Brooklyn College. As an actor she is best known for her reoccurring roles on the daytime dramas; she has also appeared in several independent and commercial films. As a comedian she has performed on the NY comedy club circuit including: Caroline's, The Comic Strip, Gotham and Stand-Up NY. Cristina has taught acting at the Stella Adler Studio NY, AMDA NY, Hunter College, The Santa Fe University of Art and Design and Brooklyn College. Cristina works as an Equity and SAG actor and stage director in New York.
