Veaceslav Grosu

A 1997 graduate of Faculty for Theater and Film in the Performing Arts Academy in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, he performed on stage at the National Theater and Eugene Ionesco Theather in his home town, before joining the State Jewish Theater of Bucharest, TES, in 1999. Veaceslav took since parts in plays based on or by Lev Tolstoi, Nikolai Gogol, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Slawomir Mrozek, Jacob Gordin, Sholem Alecheim, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, and had his stage performances directed by Harry Eliad, Moshe Yassur, Kincses Elemér, Alexander Hausvater. At TES he performs in both Romanian and Yiddish.
