Sérgio Braz d'Almeida

Graduated in Cinema and Video from ESAP (Porto), studied at FAMU (Praha) with a scholarship from FCFE; Studied Documentary film at the USC School of cinematic arts (Los Angeles); Gulbenkian staging course. He attended the Master in anthropology of visual cultures at FCSH (Lisbon) and a painting course at AR.Co. His work focuses on the exploration of image (in motion or crystallized) intersected with other arts. He directed fiction films, documentaries, videos for shows and art galleries as well as printed publications of photographic images. He has mostly been working as cinematographer for cinema and television.
