Sylvie Forrest

Sylvie grew up in France and spend long summers in her grandparents village in Italy in the Lazio area. She speaks French and Italian fluently. She was very active and artistic early on. Drawing , sculpting, knitting, sewing. Growing up her hobbies were Figure Skating, Ballet, Skiing, Running in the vineyards of Lyon (France), visiting museums, sight seeing and visiting many Europeans landmarks. As well as going to plays and watching classic Italian and French movies. After graduating from college with a degree in Accounting, she moved to San Francisco to improve her English. After a year in the U.S she decided to move to Japan (she always wanted to see Mount Fuji). She studied precious Jewelery making and Japanese. In Tokyo where she resided, she met other artists and started working as a trio. Karin the Dutch Photographer and Marianne the Danish Clothing Designer. Togheter they created silk kimono fabric accessories, as well as sculptures. One of their pieces was exhibited in Toky
