Born and raised in Mexico City, Nelly Olmedo started her career as an actress in TV Azteca where she studied with recognized Mexican theatre directors like Héctor Mendoza, Raúl Quintanilla and José Caballero. She then moved to New York City where she completed her Masters of Fine Arts Program at The Actors Studio Drama School. Nelly was trained by Ellen Barkin, Arthur Storch, Stuart Vaughan and Robert LaVelle amongst others. Upon receipt of her diploma she moved to LA where she worked in a TV series called Sam Has Seven Friends and attended the legendary 'Actors Studio' to continue working on her craft. Nelly is actively working in Mexico City. Fluent in English, she is considering TV, film and theater opportunities in the United States and Europe.
