Sonja Jones

Sonja was born in Houston, Texas on November 29, 1964. Her parents later moved to California and divorced shortly after. Her mom moved back to Houston and remarried when Sonja was around 5. They then moved to San Antonio, Texas. Sonja graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1982 with plans of going into the film industry. But fate had another course and after moving to Tulsa, OK, she met and married, Doug Jones, in 1983. It was several years later that Sonja decided to get back into acting and did a few plays in local theaters. But film was still in the back of her mind and she started getting extra parts in local commercials and films. In 2006 she entered a couple of acting competitions, World Championships of Performing Arts (3 silver medals won)and Mike Beaty Model and Talent Expo, where her 1 minute dialog was talked about throughout the judges' circle. In 2009 she connected with J.A. Steel and began doing more behind the scenes roles, mostly as Assistant Director.
