Richard Dacre

Richard Dacre ran the renowned London Soho-based poster shop Flashbacks 1985-2007. He is the author of a book about the comedian Norman Wisdom and continues to lecture, write and broadcast on British cinema. In 2011 he contributed the first of several location reports as extras for DVD/BluRay restorations of London-based films which now include Passport to Pimlico (1949), Hue and Cry (1947), It Always Rains on Sunday (1947), The Fallen Idol (1948), Sparrows Can't Sing (1963), The Blue Lamp (1950), Entertaining Mr Sloane (1970), The Small World of Sammy Lee (1963), The Ipcress File (1965) and The Galloping Major (1951)
