Jared Sales began his career performing stand-up comedy. It wasn't long before Jared & his work were broadcast around the world on CTV, CHUM, Fox UK, CW Network & XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. Jared has been a leading force on the fledgling Toronto comedy scene having been a co-founder of highly acclaimed live shows such as Righteous Wednesdays, Laugh Sabbath & Not Safe for Work (Now Magazine's #3 comedy show of 2007). Jared also collaborates monthly with comedian Sean Cullen on videos for The Sean Schau. Jared also joined Sean in Vancouver at the 2010 Winter Olympics producing multimedia content for The Sean Schau. In 2006, Jared joined the Toronto based sketch troupe The Sketchersons & in '07 the group won a Canadian Comedy Award. Jared's films placed 1st in the Funniest Video in Canada contest, sponsored by Will Ferrell's Funny or Die. That film, "Everydave Life" was screened in competition at the 08' Just For Laugh's Film Festival. Everydave Life was also nominated for a CCA in the category of "Best Web Video". In 2012, Jared co-created, directed & produced the 15 episode web series, Guidance. The series was a success & was renewed for 2nd season as a full length TV series airing Summer 2013 airing on BiteTV. Guidance was also nominated for 3 CCA's including Best Web Series and Best Director/TV (Jared Sales). Jared has also directed highly popular & acclaimed music videos for such artists as Maylee Todd, The Good Lovelies, Woodhands, Laura Barrett, The Gravity Wave, The Bicycles & more. These videos have been featured on KCRW L.A., MuchMusic, MTV, CBC, & AuxTV. EMI Canada approached Jared in 2010 to write & direct a viral video campaign for the release of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album. Jared has also taught film production as a part of the Humber School of Comedy and Humber TV Writing & Producing Program. He has also been a featured speaker on the subject at Ryerson University & The Toronto Sketch Festival.
