Amelie Paul

Actress, singer, TV host, model, radio columnist, painter, writer and naturopath, Amelie Paul is a multi-faceted artist who is passionate about health and personal growth. It was after completing her Bachelor in Communication from the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2001 that she realized that she much rather be in front of the camera than behind! So she started out in the fashion industry where she modeled for many designers and won several modeling competitions, which allowed her to travel to Paris and throughout France, London, New York, Los Angeles. Fashion will quickly lead her to get small roles on television and in movies. When she played a leading role in a musical at the Marieville Summer Theater, she discovered a new passion: singing. In 2005, she joined a top 40 cover band and spent four years touring all over Asia: Jakarta in Indonesia, Seoul in South Korea, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and even Vladivostok in Russia. Through all of this, she formed a rock/alternative original band, Mythical Number, who obtained a certain success on the Montreal underground scene and who released an album in 2011. Without even aspiring to become a TV host, she auditioned to host the show Call TV on V Télé in Canada, recorded in Vienna, Austria. She got the gig and had the chance to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world for a year and a half. Later, she hosted the show Photo Summum, shot in Jamaica this time and different other TV shows in Quebec. Wanting to pursue acting as well as singing, she went to study acting at the Montreal School of Performing Arts and took different acting workshops and private coaching, while she also graduated as a bionomist naturopath in 2019. She now sings in the rock band REBEL EFFECT and another hard rock band called CRUSHED BY WITCHES.
