Nitzan Rotschild is a New York based director/writer/editor/cinematographer. He was born in Israel in 1983, and has wanted to make films for as long as he can remember. He began studying filmmaking at Rabin High School, Kfar-Saba, Israel, where his graduation project received acclaim from faculty and students alike. The film won 2nd place in the 2001 Dimona Student Film Festival, and was a finalist in the 2001 Jerusalem Vim Van Leer Film Contest. Upon graduating high school, he served as a Military Photographer and Video Producer in the Israel Defense Forces. He later studied acting in one of Israel's top acting schools, Yoram Loewenstein's Performing Arts Studio. On May 2009, he completed his BFA degree in Film & Television Production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. His junior year film, which was produced and shot in Prague, has won three awards in Tisch's New Visions and Voices Film Festival, 2009.
