Laurens Drillich has served as President, Endemol Shine Latino, since March 2016. Drillich oversees all Spanish and Portuguese-language original production operations across Latin America and in the U.S., including Banijay-owned studios Endemol Shine Boomdog in Mexico and Sao Paulo-based Endemol Shine Brasil. He is based in Miami, Fla., and reports to Cris Abrego, Chairman of the Americas, Banijay and President and CEO, Endemol Shine Holdings. Under Drillich's direction, Mexico City-based Endemol Shine Boomdog has quickly become one of the top independent studios in the region, producing both unscripted and scripted hits for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Current Boomdog series include "Mira Quien Baila" (Univision), "MasterChef Mexico" (TV Azteca), "Me Caigo de Risa" (Televisa), "Nicky Jam: El Ganador" (Netflix), "Se Rentan Cuartos" (Comedy Central Latinoamerica'),"Quien es la Mascara" (Televisa), "Subete a Mi Moto" (Amazon Prime) and "LOL: Last One Laughing" (Amazon). Endemol Shine Brasil is also the leading independent producer in that nation, behind such local hit series as "MasterChef Brasil" (Band, Discovery Home and Health, Amazon Prime Video), "The Wall" (Globo, Telefe, Chilevisión, Canal 10, Caracol Televisión), "All Together Now" (Record TV, Netflix and Caracol Televisión), "Game of Clones" (Amazon Prime Video), "Dating Around" (Netflix), "Love is Blind" (Netflix), "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (GNT) and more. Drillich has also played an instrumental role in the long-term success of the country's top-rated series "Big Brother Brasil," which has aired for more than 20 seasons on Globo TV. An Emmy award-winning producer and director, Drillich was formerly CEO of Endemol Shine Netherlands, the largest production company in Holland with programming across all genres, including scripted, sports, digital, journalism, documentaries, entertainment, and reality. Drillich also previously oversaw Endemol's Spanish-language sales and production efforts in the U.S. and Mexico and served as Chairman and CEO of Dutch broadcaster BNN. He has also held a number of senior roles at media companies such as Veronica and RTL.
