Jay Hinkelman

Jay Hinkelman was born in the suburbs of Chicago. After attending Purdue University he moved to central Indiana, where he was bitten by the theatre bug. After several years of acting, directing, and playing music in local community theatre, he finally returned to his original love, writing, starting with one-act plays and eventually writing the screenplays for the short film "Waffles for Virginia" and for The Fresh Air Will Do You Good (2008), both directed by Jim Dougherty. Jay still lives in central Indiana, USA, with his beautiful wife Patty, genius son Colin, and vaguely traumatized cat Daisy.
