Michael McCormack is a graduate of the Harvard Lampoon and the UCLA Film School. He worked as a global executive for the Hilton Hotels Corporation. As an actor, he has worked in theatre tours, web series, cable network series, and feature films. As a writer, he is a produced playwright, a published short story and non-fiction book author, and an author and illustrator of children's books. Non-fiction of his has appeared in forty-six languages. At Harvard, with Jonathan Galassi, he founded America's first undergraduate publishing company and was its first CEO. He studied with Leonard Bernstein, Harry Levin, Walter Jackson Bate, Kurt Vonnegut, Erich Segal, and Maria von Trapp, and for the last ten years has studied screen and television acting with Brian Reise in West Hollywood. He grew up in the Midwest and lives in Los Angeles with is wife, Eileen McCormack, who works in Commercial Mortgage Brokerage. They write screenplays together. As an artist, Michael has done upwards of sixteen thousand pictures. As a professional songwriter, he as written hundreds of songs and a choral symphony with his brother Brian McCormack. As a competitive speaker, he placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the United States. He created and popularized an annual global peace promoting event called World Hello Day, every November 21st, which people have enjoyed in one hundred eighty countries, with the public support of thirty-one winners of the Nobel Peace Prize.
