Since he was a child, acting has been in Ian's blood. He began with public performance skits and songs and performed in the theatre through middle school. High school brought an interest in writing and his first book "Playoff Time" was published just after he graduated. His competition in public speaking led to national appearances two years in a row as well as a ninth place overall speaker award among thousands of competitors. Professional acting training came in college and he found work as an actor in the films "Come What May" and "2044: The Underground". His diverse technical skill set also led to positions as a sound engineer for two short films and the digital intermediate technician for the feature film "Hero". His recent acting projects include a promotional trailer for the upcoming feature film 'Eleventh Hour' as well as commercials for Super Saver and the Nebraska Gambler's Assistance Program. He recently graduated from the AMTC talent development training program and from a short term acting program with the New York Film Academy. His work at NYFA also can be seen in the short films "Danza" and "Time".
