Ingo Monitor

Ingo Monitor is a producer, director, writer and editor from Cologne, Germany, who puts a strong emphasis on teamwork and focuses on international fictional productions as well as German TV productions. Alongside producer / director Jan Mocka, he is CEO of the independent production company "MockaMonitor" based in Berlin, Germany. Ingo is an alumni of the "New York Film Academy" in Los Angeles and holds a degree in "Directing for film" from the "Academy of Media Arts Cologne". His work has been screened at several international festivals in Europe and overseas. "Eni", his graduate short film, received a grant from the "Film- & Medienstiftung NRW", won the Audience Award at the 7th Filmfest Duesseldorf and received an Honorary Mention at the 56th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. In 2010, Ingo won the "German Television Award" alongside his co-workers and was nominated again for the respective team award in 2017.
