Ben Mazzotta

Ben Mazzotta, owner and creative head of Little Engine Moving Pictures is a Prixe-Jeunesse and BANFF Media Festival Award nominated media creator and showrunner. He has created, written, directed and produced over 150 hours of live-action and animated fiction, factual, and corporate video content for broadcast partners and clients that include: TVOKids, Knowledge Kids, mini-TFO, SRC Radio-Canada, Teletoon, Family Channel, Rogers, OMNI Television, SuperChannel, Starz, JimJam AMC Networks International, Walmart, 3M, Toys R Us. Ben created, wrote, directed, edited and animated 78 episodes of Now You Know (TVOKids, Knowledge Kids - Canada, JimJam - EMEA, Starz - US), 26 episodes of Canada Crew (TVOKids, Knowledge Kids - Canada), and 26 episodes of his new preschool series Cutie Pugs - TVOKids, mini-TFO, Knowledge Kids, SRC Radio-Canada Zone Jeunesse - Canada). He has directed and shot Chris Hadfield, PK Subban, Farley Mowat, Keshia Chanté, George W Bush, Mikhail Gorbachev, Olympic medalists, scientists, dancers, musicians, animals, kids and puppeteers. Ben graduated from Ryerson University in Film and Image Arts, and was recipient of the Features First directing program at the National Screen Institute.
