Austrian born filmmaker Simon G. Mueller made his first steps in filmmaking in 1998, after several short film projects Mueller started his studies at the Film Akademie Wien. In 2005 he released his first feature film "Stylers" in Austria, the film was shot without any budget over a time period of almost 3 years, Mueller was doing almost all the departments by himself. One of the leading actors in "Stylers" was Markus E. Mueller, with whom he would collaborate again years later in New York. At the premiere of "Stylers" in February 2005 Simon G. Mueller met the Austrian film producer Alfred Ninaus who became his friend and mentor. Mueller was working on a number of films with Alfred Ninaus during the next years and wrote several screenplays like "Therefore I Am" and "Fatalis", but was unable to raise enough money from the Austrian Film Fonds to start production. In 2009 Simon G. Mueller moved to New York to become a student of William Tyler Smith and Brian Warner at the New York Film Academy. Eventually production of "Fatalis" started in 2010 -in association with Markus E. Mueller's production company 'Muco Pictures'- and the film would win several International Feature Film Awards and would be screened on 3 continents. Simon G. Mueller and his close friend and long-time Collaborator Rob Barriales started the New York based Production Company 'Fatalis Film Productions LLC' with film producer Mustafa M. Bhuiya. Rob Barriales and Simon G. Mueller co-wrote and co-produced the short film 'Affections', a film that would be screened at several film festivals in New York, Chicago and Atlanta. Besides their short and feature film productions they also focus on music videos and commercials as well as promotional videos for local businesses and non-profits. Among other Investors Eduardo Alcivar Gonzales and Nicholas M. Holmes co-funded Mueller's 3rd feature film 'Of Sound Mind'.
