With a background in commercials and marketing films, Don's heart has always been in making movies. He first got bit by making a short film with his neighborhood buddies, "The 16 Dollar Man plus tax". Working with 8mm film and seeing what could be done with just a simple camera, he knew this was something he wanted to pursue for the rest of his life. As a teenager Don was actively playing drums in marching band and forming some of his own bands, but playing just the drums was not enough, teaching himself piano on his next door's neighbors piano, he started making up his own songs. At 16 he composed his first song. Music and movies seemed to be in perfect sync for him. Music flowed out like water and his first attempt at composing to picture would be "The 16 Dollar Man plus tax". Fast forward 30 years and Don is still going at it! The passion is still there like it was as a young child, the only difference is more experience and knowledge to help make better art. In 2010 he decided to start releasing all the music that he had written over the years. He is still in that process as he works through his many volumes of songs, both instrumental and lyrical music. In 2013 his dream of making a feature film was realized in making "Do No Harm" a psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. "It turned out better than I could have ever imagined." When Don isn't working on music or some film, he uses his spare time to reach out to young people to encourage them to pursue their dreams, because he knows better than anyone, if you don't have dreams, what else is left?
