Originally from the German part of Switzerland, Adrian Blaser arrived at the shores of Lake Geneva in the 90s to study at the University of Lausanne. He becomes a freelance associate at the Théâtre de Vidy in 1998, works as a translator on the plays of Peter Brook (The Suit), as well as for the Visions du Réel festival in Nyon. For several years he contributes an independent column to the "Aargauer Zeitung". After becoming 1st assistant director on the documentary Mais im Bundeshuus - Corn in Parliament in 2000, he works as production manager for many international cinema and television projects. In 2007, he produces a series of audiovisual works at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, before joining the shooting of Cleveland versus Wall Street, film presented in Cannes 2010. Having collaborated on numerous films by the founders of Bande à part Films (Ursula Meier, Lionel Baier, Jean-Stéphane Bron, Frédéric Mermoud), he becomes their executive producer in 2011. In 2017, he joins Aline Schmid at Beauvoir Films in Geneva as a producer. He is also a member of the Swiss Film Academy and the European Film Academy (EFA). From 2010 to 2015, he sits on the committee for the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) and is an associate of Beldocs-Festival in Belgrade. Sometimes on Friday he prepares a delicious "Friday Chicken" for friends and their friends.
