Jeffrey Gee Chin grew up in Marin County. His mission is to share the untold stories of immigrant pioneers who came to the United States in the early 20th Century. In 2012, he completed his first narrative short film Lil Tokyo Reporter (2012) which stars Academy Award-Winner Chris Tashima as Civil Rights Leader Sei Fujii. The film has won over 21 awards and screened with the U.S. State Department in Seoul, Fukuoka, Guangzhou, and Beijing. Jeffrey edited an Emmy-Nominated SFGovTv episode, VFX Supervised Academy-Nominated Student Short "Drone", and completed a feature film adaptation of Actors Anonymous (2017) as a 2nd-Unit Director and Visual Effects Supervisor. For three years, Jeffrey assisted and 2nd-Unit directed for Director John Singleton, working on commercials, and television shows "Billions" (Showtime) and "Snowfall" (FX). Singleton mentored Jeffrey in his process to bring under-represented communities to the forefront of media. Jeffrey directed his first feature film, a heist film that traces two siblings who scam America for over $381 million dollars - based on true events. This production will be one of the first U.S.-Tollywood Co-Productions and stars some of the most celebrated stars in India including Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, and Vishnu Manchu. Jeffrey is about to launch his first publication entitled, "A Rebel's Outcry".
