David Nordhaus, born exactly two years (to the day) before Man set foot on the Moon - July 20th, 1967. He has one sibling, a younger sister. David has two children, and two step children as well. He was born in St. Louis Missouri, and was raised in a small Midwest town called Raytown. In 1998 David donned the pseudonym persona of Victor Heck and began writing horror fiction novels and short stories. As Victor Heck he is the author of the novels 'A Darkness Inbred' and 'Book of Legion', he was the editor for the anthology series 'The Asylum - Bedtimes Stories for the Criminally Insane', and has worked with various other authors on collaborative collections such as 'Downward Spiral' with co-writers J.F. Gonzalez, Wayne Allen Sallee, and Gord Rollo. He has been nominated for the Bram Stoker Award and the British Fantasy Award. In 2007 David and partners Bob Goodall and Matt Baier at Eris Films won the Troma Team Award for Best Grindhouse-Style movie trailer at the 2007 Kansas International Film Festival with their project entitled Midget Chainsaw Zombie.
