Andy was born in Durham, North East England October 1978. He began his career as a male model and featured in dozens of shoots and campaigns in Europe. By 2007 Andy began focusing more on commercials and TV work and decided to sharpen his acting skills by attending a National Acting Diploma on an evening. Andy featured in several known TV series including an appearance as Tim Lawson in Vera and had a cameo in an episode of Inspector George Gently. Andy was hand-picked by the award winning Director Gillian Wearing for a role in her award winning feature film Self Made. It was his role as a Middle Class Husband that got the attention of up-coming film maker Myles Radcliffe and he was quickly cast in the lead role of the 2011 feature film "The Samaritan". It was in The Samaritan that Andy got the opportunity to portray his range of acting ability starring as the troubled and emotional character that is Devlin Van Ryan. Andy lost weight for the role and adapted his appearance to suit the character, such is his commitment. Andy is working on other projects and is hoping to add to his growing portfolio of titles.
