Jacques de Mesterton is an author, political advisor, and international facilitator. He has fought terrorists in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Jacques de Mesterton's novel, The Succession, published in 1999, was inspired by his personal dealings with professional soldiers, tycoons, princes, thieves, and intelligence operatives. De Mesterton was born in Finland and lived in the south of France until the age of twelve. His ancient family of Norman origin has branches in Scotland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Canada. Jacques de Mesterton was an American consultant to Paris Mayor Jacques Chirac's campaign for the presidency of France, in 1981. During the Eighties and Nineties, he did fund-raising for the arts, and was a director of a manufacturers' representative firm in Paris. Jacques then hosted a popular talk show at KOA Radio in Denver, Colorado. Working as an international business advisor, he served as one of two envoys for the Tissot Foundation, which applied high-tech solutions to problems in second-and third-world countries. Starting in 2001, Jacques de Mesterton was for ten years a board-member of the Havsudden Foundation, which manages resources in Africa and the European Union.
