Andrea was born in Caracas, Venezuela where she was raised by her parents well known Venezuelan Filmmakers José Sousa and Yackeline Salazar. Andrea graduated from The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and has studied Musical Theatre with many Master teachers. Gaining a lot of experience in musicals and movies in her country leading the national company of Annie the musical. She lived in England and Switzerland, where she found herself studying different kinds of dance styles and joining the European Tour of the band, Chico & the Gypsies. Andrea participated in many musicals and plays while she lived in New York City, such as "Dog sees God", "Cuckoos nest", and "Our Lady of 121st street" at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She had her off-Broadway debut with the musical "Lightning Strikes Twice" at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre and has participated in more than 20 staged readings so far. You can also hear Andreas voice on radio commercials all over the US. She owns her parents' film production company in Venezuela together with her sister, and released her first music video in 2014 "Hay Tiempo" soundtrack of the acclaimed Venezuelan horror films "La casa del fin de los tiempos" When she moved to NYC, Andrea found a non-profit organization committed to empowering the Latino community within the Arts -- R.Evolucion Latina -- where she is an activist and project leader. She can be heard on R.Evolucion Latina's first album, "Dare to go Beyond", featuring Broadway performers. She also had her mini Broadway debut at the 24th Annual BC/EFA Easter Bonnet competition alongside Broadway performers such as Corbin Bleu (High School Musical). Andrea lives in Cologne, Germany at the moment still involved in the music business and filmmaking in Venezuela.
