Maura Locke Antas was born to Craig and Sarah Antas just outside of Chicago, where she began her acting career at the age of 6. Maura worked in numerous theatre productions before she expanded her talent into film, when she landed a role in the full-length feature "Bitterblue" with Sole Productions at the age of 11. While in Chicago, Maura held a consistent role in the R.Ed.I. Arts and Education Foundation- a professional theatre troupe that raises youth awareness of substance abuse, mental illness, and gender and racial equality. Maura studied improvisation at the Second City Chicago before moving to Los Angeles, where she studied Dramatic and Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. While at USC, she studied Shakespeare and Classical Theatre at the British American Drama Academy in association with the Yale School of Drama with a talent scholarship. Since then Maura has studied improvisation at the Groundlings School and ongoing audition technique at Margie Haber Studio. She resides in Los Angeles, CA and is pursuing her dream of becoming an actress.
