Dequaine Emmanuel Browne was born in Birmingham, 26th September, 1994. Due to personal reasons (Davinia Browne, Biological Mother), he was given custody to his grandparents, Trevor O'Donna Browne and Catherine Lynette Browne. He moved to Barbados Bridgetown at the age of four months, three days old, with Catherine Lynette Browne and Trevor O'Donna Browne. Trevor made the decision to move back to England (Chesterfield), due to lack of work in Barbados. Dequaine turned five years old on September 26th, 1999. Catherine began working for the local government authority and Trevor became a security guard. This was convenient for them both, because it meant they could implement their time on raising their Grandson. Dequaine's talent began to shine from an early age. At the age of five he joined Stagecoach Theater Arts, a well established Performing Arts School that concentrated on Singing, Acting and Dancing. Dequaine excelled in all aspects of performance, winning numerous medals, trophies and rewards in his lessons. He began Singing, Piano and Keyboard lessons at Palfreyman's Music Store, in Chesterfield, Chatsworth Road (Owned by James Palfreyman). Catherine still wasn't satisfied, constantly pushing for her Grandson to succeed. She signed Dequaine up for Stagecoach Theater Arts (Acting Agency). Paying for his training, travel expenses and head shots. In the meantime, Trevor was still working as a security guard. Trevor working long hours, slightly stubborn but used his time wisely with his Grandson. He began to introduce artist such as Marvin Gaye, Same Cook, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5 and Micheal Jackson. Dequaine took a particular interest in Michael Jackson, studying the film "Moonwalker" and mimicking his dance moves. It wasn't long until Dequaine had numerous auditions for the Jackson 5 (West End, 2002), a Fruit Shoot advert (2003) and Dancing videos for Sony Productions (2005). The Breakthrough: Dequaine attended Parkside Community School, Chesterfield (2008). He auditioned for the television series Grange Hill (Series 31) at Lime Studios in Liverpool. After three additions, a call back and a one month waiting period, Dequaine gained the role of the character Theo Benson. Trevor and Catherine we're ecstatic. It was there Dequaine met a life long friend, Tom Stott (Laxo, Grange Hill, 2008, Lime Studios) his partner in crime. Dequaine states "Grange hill was an amazing experience. The staff and production crew we're thoroughly professional, and it shaped me to be the person I am today". Dequaine gained an audition for a boy band. A call back landed him the opportunity to attend former spice girl, Geri Halliwell's house. Dequaine states "It was an incredible opportunity and experience. When I got the phone call to go to Geri Halliwell's house in London, I had mixed emotions. My Grandfather just died and my Nan was in hospital, so it was tough". Dequaine has attended East 15 Drama School and Graduated from the University Of Lincoln.
