Veena Jamkar

Veena Jamkar was born on 10-07-1984 in Uran, Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. She is an Indian Film Actress & Theatre Actress who is known for her work in Marathi cinema. She also acted in a Konkani language film called Paltadcho Munis in 2009. Veena Jamkar started her career at her younger age. She took her bachelor's degree in Arts from D.G. Ruparel College, Mumbai. She has a keen interest in acting since her childhood. She always took part in college competitions like play, skit, theater shows etcetera. After fulfilling her studies, the actress joined theater professionally and began giving auditions for films. Her hard work and struggle paid off, she got a chance to work in the "Bebhaan Valu" Marathi film. It was her first movie and she played the role of "Tani" in this movie. The director of this film was Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. The film got the title of Rotterdam International Film Festival of the year in 2008. After the success of "Bebhaan Valu" she rose to fame in public and was highlighted among top actresses. She did numerous super hit films in Marathi Cinema. Apart from films, the actress also worked in the television era. In 2017, she appeared in Zee Yuva's show "Prem Hey" against renowned actor Sunil Barge.
