Rolf Steinmann

Rolf Steinmann is a wildlife cinematographer whose work is featured predominantly in BBC natural history documentaries such as Planet Earth 2, Frozen Planet 2, The Hunt or Seven Worlds. Moreover in 2014 he started to work on DisneyNature features which had a cinematic release until Disney+ was established. For the three films Born in China, Penguins and Polar Bear he spent long periods of time in the high altitude steppes of Tibet, Antarctica and the High Arctic. He has been featured in three Disney making-of-films and in several behind-the-scene-clips at the end of BBC documentaries. In the last years he has contributed increasingly to streaming platforms.
