PawL BaZiLe is a filmmaker from north New Jersey with roots in the punk rock community. PawL suffers from depression, A.D.D., and severe insomnia. PawL was inspired by alternative rock like the Ramones, Danzig, Henry Rollins, and Iggy Pop. He turned to film where he excelled. He is infamous for his "DIY" policy of creating art, as well as an absolutist position on the first amendment. In his documentary film "Living the American Nightmare" PawL is working to take the glamor out of and dispel misconceptions audiences have about the life style of a musician. He is working very closely with Myke Hideous (vocalist for Empire Hideous/Misfits/Bronx Casket Company/Spy Society 99) on this film, and is basing much of the story on Myke's book. From time to time, PawL does small acting roles to fund his projects, and routinely appears as a background actor. His company is Sonny Brutality Entertainment, and participates in comedy, film, theater, music, and visual art.
