Doug W. Goldman began his training as a musician at Morgan State University under the tutelage of Melvin Miles, where he attended school fall, winter and spring semesters. During his summer breaks, he performed and/or toured on the same tickets with such groups as Panama Band, Ray Goodman and Brown, The Soft-Tones, Patti Labelle, and Luther Vandross just to name a few. After a professional career with various law enforcement agencies such as Corrections, Police, Fed, Military Intel and Forensic Investigations, Doug made his acting debut in "The Talented Tenth" at the Arena Playhouse (Baltimore, Maryland) accrediting Amini J. Courts, Donald Owens, Randy Smith and Ed Terry for their respective master training. Since that time, this triple threat has enjoyed leading roles in such productions as "Spunk", "A Soldiers Play", "Carmen Jones", "Guys and Dolls", "Seven Guitars", "Bourbon At The Border" and many others. He's also enjoyed principle roles in various television as well as radio commercials. His various billboards and print ads can be seen world-wide. He is touring two shows as principle characters entitled "The Meeting" and "South House" and is particularly known for his ability to transform via a wide range of characters. Doug is particularly known for his ability to capture the complexities of emotional range.
