Anthony Marinelli

As an editor, Anthony Marinelli has been nominated for an AICE Award (for NY Dept. of Tourism's first post-911 commercial, "New Day"). He was also the editor on an Webby Award-winning documentary with Alicia Keys ("Alicia in Africa"). As a writer, he is the winner of Best Original Screenplay (Richmond International Film Festival) for "Acoustic Space," which he also directed and edited. Another short film he directed in 2014, "Walt Whitman Never Paid For It," won the Audience Choice Award at Richmond. Other films as writer/director/editor include "Subway"(2010) and "Marital Arts" (2017) which screened in the Cannes Short Film Corner and was an official selection at the Chelsea Film Festival, NYC Independent Film Festival and Richmond International Film Festival. His short screenplay, "Books, Beds and Baths" was a finalist in the HollyShorts Film Festival's Screenwriting Competition in 2017. Plays he's written and directed include "Another Famous Dead Artist" (2016 NYNW Semi-Finalist) and "Max & Domino" (2017 NYNW semi-finalist).
