Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 11th, 1941. Known as Philadelphia's "King of Disco" for 30 years on TV and radio. Referred to as "RJ" his shows have been syndicated nationally as "Disco USA". Original Dick Clark Bandstand Dancer. Carpooled with Dick Clark to Bandstand airings. Ron Joseph went to the same church as Philadelphia's Legendary TV newsman and NFL Films voice over artist John Facenda. John would often pass along broadcast tips to RJ after the 11:15 morning mass at St. Bernadette's in Drexel Hill.
