"The 1984 summer acting gig was a fun thing with Michael Keaton", however, Luc first and foremost was raised in a hockey family. He and his family followed his pro hockey player/coach father Marc Boileau all over North America - after playing in the early 60's for the Detroit Red Wings and the later 60's for the Seattle Totems...he moved his family east to start his coaching career. Traveling with his dad's teams and watching him coach the Pittsburgh Penguins and Quebec Nordiques, pretty much cemented his desire to play hockey at an early age. After his college hockey career in upstate New York, Luc reached his dream of playing professional hockey in the early 90's overseas in the French and Spanish National Leagues. He now resides in Seattle with his wife of 20 years Rebecca and their two sons Remy and Rhone, and still hits the ice two days a week in the NHL (Nighttime Hockey League).
