From a young age, Jasmin got bitten by the acting bug and showed a strong interest for the performing arts after watching movies, specifically the adventurous 'Bastian' from The Never Ending Story. This provided her with great inspiration and since the age of 10 lead her to participate in school plays. These included productions such as Pinocchio and The Dying Swan. In high school, she attended the Steinfuss Theater where she continued to deepen her affinity with acting, this time trying her acting skills at improvisational theatre. This challenge allowed her to release her creative side as well as exploring other sides of herself. She portrayed roles in classic plays to modern. Later, she decided to follow her dream of becoming an actress and approached it seriously as her career choice. For this she moved to Los Angeles, CA in the United States, where she studied at famous school "The Berg Studios" (Gregory Sobeck Berger) and learned the acting techniques of Stanislavski and Uta Hagen. Nowadays, she is a established actress in Film, TV and Theater. Roles that catch her interest are not only period pieces but also portrayal of characters which are ambivalent, broken or even rebellious which don't fit in a normal society e.g. such as 'Scarlett O'Hara' in Gone with the Wind.
