Matt Boman was born in the deep south in a time just before the internet. Amongst the tadpoles of South Atlanta he leapfrogged from childhood martial artist, to tuba virtuoso, to 35mm fist fight documentarian to hibachi chef where he was dubbed the "Caucasian Sensation". Converging all his interests, he attended SCAD for a bachelor's degree in Film & Television Production which he obtained in 2008 at the same time his thesis film "On Homeostasis" screened at seventeen film festivals worldwide and garnered him the first ever "Award of Special Artistic Achievement" from his alma mater. Soon after he moved to Los Angeles & worked in many areas of production and post production, cutting his teeth as a music video director, run and gun camera operator and sizzle editor all the while working the night shift as a busboy. In 2012 he edited the pitch videos for the YouTube Original Channel Initiative which garnered a one million dollar investment from Google for YouTube legend PhillyD to launch the fan-loved news network SourceFed, of which Matt became the head of production and post production overseeing a team of twenty up and coming comedians and video professionals. A year later their network was awarded another million dollars and over the years garnered billions of views from their adoring 1.5 million subscribers before being sold to Discovery, Inc. Taking full advantage of his keen new media production company insight, in 2018 Matt launched Studio Boman, a front to back boutique production company which creates dynamic and highly effective video content across all platforms, from social media to feature films and television for top tier clients such as Warner Records, Twitch, Dior, Adidas and OUTtv. Stay tuned to see what Matt does next, or send him a message to get started on a project together, today!
