Yasutomo Chikuma

Yasutomo Chikuma, born in 1983, began his film career as an actor in 2004 before moving into directing and screenwriting. His transition from performance to filmmaking marked a shift toward developing his own visual and narrative approach. He gained international experience through collaborations within the Japanese film industry and work presented at international festivals, including a screenplay written for Tetsuya Mariko.
