Ben Severson

Ben is the youngest of three children. His father, Mark, was an EOD (explosive ordinance disposal) technician in the U.S. Marine Corps. His mother, Barb, was a nursing assistant in a retirement home. Ben got his start acting at Plattsmouth High School, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, with the play Into The Woods. He starred/co-starred in several theatrical productions at the high school, and, with a partner, was State Speech champion in duet acting for their adaptation of The Princess Bride (1987). The summer after graduation, Andrew Robinson came to Nebraska, searching for a school in which to film April Showers (2009). He finally settled on Plattsmouth, and when Ben was cast for the role of Otto Green, his film career officially began.
