Carla Mooney

Carla is a founder and director of the Irish Production Company, Cardel Entertainment [ie] with her brother Delwyn Mooney producing award winning films, music videos and commercials with international clients such as Sony, Media Rights Capital, Warner Music Group, & Universal. She is also a founder and director of Silk Road International Film Festival [ie] which celebrates cinema, culture and art, presenting world cinema and a special program of films from the "Silk Road" countries. She is a signatory to the "Belt & Road Alliance" at Shanghai International Film Festival. Carla has been invited as a Member of Jury at Malmo Arab Film Festival, Sweden and Offline Film Festival, Ireland. Kildare Short Grass film commission adjudicator 2020. Speaker at DIT Film Festival, Guth Gafa Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, Ramallah Docs. She is a Member of the Irish Film & Television Academy, Member of Board FilmOffaly film commission in Ireland, Notre Dame International Film Festival & Ambassador of Ireland for the European Women's Audiovisual Network (2015-2017). Produced feature documentary CUSP, won Special Jury Award: Emerging Filmmakers at Sundance Film Festival 2021. Produced stop motion animation sequences on Edgar Wright's debut feature documentary which premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2021 with Media Rights Capital and Complete Fiction.
