Pol Ponsarnau

Pol Ponsarnau (1980) is a Catalan director and producer working and living between Berlin, Barcelona and Mexico. BA+MA degree in Audiovisual Comunication at UPF in Barcelona, with a scholarship at FAMU in Prague, Czech Rep. and Master degree in "Art, literature and contemporary culture" at UOC. From 2010 to 2019 he lives and works in Berlin where he creates PolacosTV production company for music videos for Sony and Warner Music. Pol develops an extensive career directing advertising for brands like Audi, Bimbo or Apple. From 2016 Pol works in narrative fiction projects and directs the awarded "Food, First", that premiered in Dresden International Film Festival and was selected at 80+ international festivals. His new short film "Tara and the Blue", premiered at Abycine where it was awarded Best ShortFilm. Since 2021 he directed the web series "Decoded" with Hollywood actor Amr Waked.
