Teri Frost

Teri Frost was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised by her mother. As a small child, Teri did local television and loved acting and singing. Growing up, family friends and distant relatives would say things like, "you get your talent and your outgoing, smooth talking personality from your father's blood running through your veins!" She also had a love for historical events and history. Teri recently got a huge break in Away We Go (2009) (aka "Farlanders"). She went to Tucson as an extras casting assistant, interning for casting director Helen McCready of Helen Wheels Productions. She had been working in the resort lobby with background actors most of the day. After a long day, she decided to leave the lobby and head back to the holding room to start wrapping extras. As she exited the lobby area into a hallway, she crossed paths with Academy Award winning director Sam Mendez who was walking the opposite way. She looked directly at his eyes at close range. He was looking down doing something with his phone and didn't seem to even see her. So you can imagine her surprise when the director's right hand man came running up to her from behind. He wanted to know if she had been approached about being in their movie. He told her that Sam Mendez loved her look and wanted her in the movie. She told him that she was to be his "Big Busted Woman" in another scene that the last she heard, became part of the "Waitstaff". If the story ended there, that would have been enough to make Teri's year. But when Teri checked in with wardrobe on day two, they immediately wrapped her character without shooting. Teri thought that maybe they cut the scene. But was confused when they told her to be back in the morning. The next morning, Teri went through wardrobe, make-up and hair and stood as she did the day before as part of the "Waitstaff". The background extras and the "Waitstaff" were called to set. They caught Teri at the door and told her she needed to be rushed through wardrobe, make-up and hair again and she was their primary focus. They told that the director Sam Mendez had the entire scene re-written to revolve around Teri and the lead actor John Krasinski of The Office (2005). At that moment Teri became the "Sexy Resort Mom" aka "Big Breasted Woman/Mother" in the new untitled Sam Mendez project, _Away We Go (2009)_ (gv).
