After earning an academic/theatre scholarship at Utah State University, Angie Larsen discovered her passion was no longer acting, but journalism. She transferred to the University of Utah and graduated with honors in the field of Broadcast Journalism. She spent 14-years at ABC 4 News in Salt Lake City as a television reporter, anchor and co-host of the Emmy Award-winning Good Things Utah. In order to combat the zombie effect of long, early hours, Angie embarked on a new adventure, working the flip side of media as the Senior Manager of Public Relations for USANA Health Sciences. During that time, she won an ABA Silver Award for Communications Professional of the Year and Honorable Mention for PR News People's Media Relations Professional of the Year. She is currently working as Managing Producer for USANA Studios, producing the company's corporate videos, product videos and live events. In addition to this time consuming position, Angie is also very involved in her community. She donates her time, talent and resources to many charitable causes. She served as the Public Relations Director for the Days of 47 Parade, media strategist and coordinator for the Iron Will Race to benefit the Utah National Guard and press strategist for multiple other charitable organizations. Angie annually emcees dozens of events and serves as a keynote speaker to youth groups and business organizations. She also does spokesperson work, commercials, and acting. But her favorite thing to do is spend time adventuring with her two energetic and hilarious young boys.
