Ian Davies

Ian has worked as a producer / executive producer / consultant on a wide range of films which have won an Emmy, BAFTAs, British Independent FIlm Awards and which have won prizes at many international film festivals including Sundance. Initially running a packaging consultancy for film producers - Initialize Films - he later set up a film fund, Boudica, with co-creator Rebecca Long, and consulted for more than 10 film funds, including the EU's Media Fund, the largest film development fund in Europe. Ian has worked across a broad range of content including fiction features (from horror films to dramas), feature and TV documentaries and fiction drama series. In 2021 he directed his first documentary film Amber and Me which was sold internationally and was heralded by leading UK critic Mark Kermode. Since 2022 he has worked for Noah Media Group (14 Peaks / Villeneuve Pironi) as an executive producer, overseeing their documentary slate.
