Christina Dow is an award-winning American film producer. She founded Solo Five Productions and serves as its Managing Director. Christina began her career in theater, most notably producing The Blue Room, by Academy Award Nominee, David Hare. As a film producer, her first feature film collaboration was with Writer/ Director, Andrea Pallaoro, entitled Hannah, starring Charlotte Rampling. Hannah had its world premiere in 2017 at the 74th Venice International Film Festival where it was nominated for a Golden Lion and Ms. Rampling took home the Best Actress award. Christina will next serve as a Producer on Pallaoro's third feature film, Monica, expected to start shooting in 2021. Additionally, she was involved as an Executive Producer on the recently completed Vida Comienza, Vida Termina, by Writer/Director, Rafael Palacio Illingworth. Christina holds an MFA in Producing from The American Film Institute and a BA in Art History from Boston College. She resides in Santa Barbara, California.
