Scottish filmmaker, Gerard Roxburgh picked up several awards for his shorts, most notably from Spike Lee at the Tribeca film festival. In 2011, he directed the award winning feature Documentary "Once I was a Champion," which premiered at the LA Film Festival. He has since made his career in the unscripted space, with an emphasis on combat sports. Roxburgh produced four seasons of The Ultimate Fighter for Fox. Partnering with UFC Hall of Famer, Urijah Faber; the duo formed Fabrox Films in 2019, creating both feature length and episodic content. Fabrox Film's first project was Roxburgh's directorial scripted debut; the true crime thriller, "Green Rush,"which was distributed by Lionsgate in April of 2020. Roxburgh has since directed and edited the pilot episode "Love, Death & Prizefighting" of the UFC's show "Chronicles" for which the UFC was nominated for both a Clio sports award and an Emmy. Most recently, Roxburgh directed and edited another episode about Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, "A Tree is known by its Fruit." Additionally Roxburgh has produced and edited shows for Fox, BT Sport and AXS TV.
