Faizan Kareem is a multi-disciplinary South Asian actor, screenwriter and filmmaker. After successfully completing his MFA in Filmmaking from Los Angeles, he moved to Mumbai and dabbled with short films before embarking on making his feature film debut with 'Morjim'. As an actor, he has proven himself to be diverse and multifaceted when it comes to playing characters from different parts of the world. His upcoming screenplay 'Astray' was declared the grand prize winner of the 2021 BlueCat Screenplay Competition and was a semi finalist in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. That same year, he was selected as a Newcomer for BAFTA's Newcomers Program.
