Mario M. Milano

Actor/writer/director, Mario M. Milano's - age 35 - acting and music career was inspired by his parents, both of whom were international opera singers. Mario gave his first performance in a school play at the age of five, and was booed off the stage by his fellow classmates. But Mario was determined and the experience made him even more eager to prove he could live up to his parents' success. In middle school and high school, Mario studied drama and appeared in numerous plays. His obvious acting and singing talent was highly praised, and this encouraged Mario to set out to England to study at the world famous Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, following his graduation. Mario was frustrated to learn he had missed the deadline for try-outs at RADA after his plane had to make an emergency stopover in Reykjavik, Iceland for two days. He struggled to make a living in Europe by singing on street corners in Paris and Amsterdam, eventually landing some minor roles in films. After little success, Mario decided to complete his acting degree at USC. At the age of 22, he bought his first house and entered into the Real Estate business. He also appeared in several foreign films and commercials, and recorded two music albums. While living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Mario acted, wrote and directed the epic Motion Picture, Dagger of Adultery. The movie was adapted from the intriguing novel of the same name, by Romeo Risica.
