"Through Different Eyes" marks Rudy Marconi's first official credit in the world of film. A hometown success story beginning with his education in the Ridgefield, Connecticut school system, Marconi was a three-letter varsity athlete as a member of football, basketball and baseball teams. After earning a BBA from Nichols College of Business Administration, he spent 15 years working in the paper and printing industry until returning to Ridgefield in 1986 to join the family business, Nano Marconi, Inc. Marconi began what would become a storied career in politics in 1989, winning a seat on Ridgefield's Planning and Zoning Commission. 10 years later, in 1999, Marconi ascended to the town's highest office, First Selectman, defeating the incumbent by winning a historic 63% of the vote, an office Marconi holds to this day. Marconi's experience as his home town's highest elected official positioned him particularly well to make his brief but auspicious feature film debut as Parker F. Yellen, President of TDE's fictitious northeastern Ivy League university. If his success in politics is any indication, Marconi has a very viable second career waiting if he ever decides to quit his day job.
