Christina Harding always had a passion for dance. She has been performing since she was a child. She began to study ballet and tap dance at 6 years old and began assisting dance class at the age of 11. She continued to teach through high school and studied classical voice technique privately for several years until she earned her college degree in music. Following college, Harding continued to perform in musical theatre, chorales, concerts, charity music events and album collaborations. Among her musical theatre credits are "Broadway Cares Los Angeles Chess Benefit," "The Who's Tommy" at Ricardo Montalbon Theater, "An Evening with Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber" as soloist, "Quartet" at Ford Amphitheater (with Susan Egan, Matt Morrison, Kevin Earley, and Ty Taylor) as soprano, and "City of Ventura Music Under The Stars Silent Film Series: The Phantom of the Opera" as featured soprano. Her album recordings include "Titanic - An Epic Musical Voyage," produced by BuySoundtrax Records, and "A Bloomindale's Shopping Bag" on which she is featured vocalist. Harding's songwriting credits include "Little Woman - An American Musical," which was work-shopped in Los Angeles 1999-2000 with Teri Ralston, Brian Evers and Gordon Goodman, and in New York in 2001 with Elaine Stritch and Debbie Gibson. In 2012, after taking an acting class just for fun, Harding realized she found a new love. In an effort to create work for herself, she founded her own film production company, Sideyard Films. Her first film project was a short titled, "Moustache," which went on to win numerous accolades on the film festival circuit. Awards received included Best Actress in a Short Film, Alan Bailey Award for Excellence for a First Time Producer, Best Sound Design, Best Musical Score and Best Short Screenplay at the Action on Film Festival in Monrovia, California; and Best Actress, Grand Jury Prize and Best Film Score at Laughlin International Film Festival in Laughlin, Nevada. Harding has collaborated on numerous projects with established dancers and Hollywood artists including Dean Barlow, Matthew Morrison, Susan Egan, Alice Ripley, Nona Hendryx, Dan Redfeld, Martin Guigui, Ann Benson and Bernie Dresel. In addition to her entertainment career, Harding and classical violinist Elizabeth Hedman co-founded and operate the community project, Project One A Month (POAM). The organization highlights a local, national or international charity or cause once a month. They volunteer for the chosen organization, encouraging their community to join and create awareness. The mission of POAM is to demonstrate to the public that volunteering and charity work can be fun and rewarding, and it CAN fit in a full and busy schedule.
