Andre Escobar Matarazzo was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1998. His mother, Daniela Escobar is an actress as well as a writer. His father, Jayme Monjardim, of Italian descent, is a director and producer in Brazil. He is also the grandson of famous Brazilian singer Maysa Matarazzo. Andre spent his early youth in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but soon he moved to Los Angeles, CA at the age of 7 to pursue his family inherited passion of acting. He was alphabetized and considered by Palisades Elementary School as a native English speaker. Andre would eventually be cast in his first role as an actor, at the early age of 10, in the Brazilian TV mini-series: "Maysa: Quando Fala o Coração". After this, he participated in a couple of other minor roles on screen but mostly in theatre, such as the role of Charlie in a stage adaptation of "Dead Poets Society". In 2016 he started working with dubbing and voice-over projects while attending his Senior Year at Beverly Hills High School.
