Aurora Kruk is a Realism Portraitist commissioned by both private clients and the Toronto film industry, for which she is also a First Assistant Art Director. In the past three years, she has designed and executed featured pieces for shows such as Guillermo Del Toro's "Nightmare Alley" and "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark", the Emmy Award-nominated "The Umbrella Academy" (seasons 1 and 2), and the Emmy Award-nominated "What We Do in the Shadows" (season 2). Born into a family of artists and entrepreneurs in the heart of downtown Toronto, Aurora's intense interest in visual art began in early childhood and was further entrenched during time spent living and traveling throughout Europe as her mother pursued a degree in Fine Arts. Aurora graduated at the top of her class from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Design in Illustration.
